How are projects funded?

European ScreeningPort has several project funding models:

Direct funding of specific projects by a sponsoring institution (eg University) or consortium (eg University + Research foundation).
The majority of ScreeningPort projects will use this arrangement.
Grant calls from the BMBF (German Ministry of Education and Research) and other partner funding organisations which have earmarked specific funds for screening projects. These calls involve a formal application and are subject to peer review. To receive notice of upcoming announcements, please send your contact details to

Partnership funding where ScreeningPort provides 'in-kind' resourcing of screening projects in collaboration with the academic partner. Only a very limited numbers of this type of project are possible. Please contact us directly to discuss opportunities.
