European ScreeningPort is equipped to screen our customer’s own compound libraries, as well as commercial or public screening collections, as required. In addition, European ScreeningPort has access to the libraries listed below:
- Evotec’s 250.000 diverse and drug-like compound library:
This collection is composed of:
- 90.000 proprietary compounds from the Evotec collection
- 90.000 third party compounds to cover large diversity
- Target class specific subsets for GPCRs (26.000), kinases (26.000), ion channels (10.000), proteases (3.000), protein/protein interactions (3.000) and known drugs (2.000)
This screening library has a proven track record in delivering potent and attractive compounds as starting points for medicinal chemistry optimisation. The mean purity of compounds in the library is > 90%. The library is actively managed and regularly replenished with replacement compounds as required by Evotec. - Evotec’s fragment based library
- Our own proprietary pilot library for Proof-of-Concept studies:
This library is composed of approximately 2.500 small molecules obeying Lipinski's rule of 5 and additional 2.500 commercial natural products including macrocycles (purity > 75%), nature-analogue compounds (purity > 95%) as well as isolated classical pure natural compounds. - Proprietary natural products library, consisting of two collections. One is provided as part of a collaboration with the Kiel ”Wirkstoff-Zentrum” at the IFM-GEOMAR (KiWiZ) and includes several hundred compounds derived from marine organisms in addition to 2.000 more compounds, which have been allocated to us from a third party.
In addition to these libraries, we also have access to a variety of virtual compound libraries that are used for in silico screening approaches as well as for the assembly of new and extension of our existing compound libraries.
