European ScreeningPort operates its own state-of-the-art High Throughput Screening Centre in Hamburg, Germany. This facility offers assay development, screening, hit confirmation, hit selectivity, compound handling and data mining functions as a fee for service. It is supported by a comprehensive bioinformatics and IT infrastructure to aid rapid decision making.

A fully integrated robotic system forms the centrepiece of the European ScreeningPort’s in-house platform, which is operating in 384 or 1536 well format, with industry standard liquid handling and robust plate handling. The platform is equally suitable for screening 10,000 compounds in dose response studies and 1 million compounds in single point assays and is composed of four different workstations with the following components:
